Last night Leanna and I headed out to Thursday Night Live in Lexington to meet up with friends and check out Business Time, Lexington’s self proclaimed “Best rock and roll band.”  I’d seen Business Time live before, but had never been to Thursday Night Live.  It was great.  And, it’s hard to beat the price of free.  There are plenty of vendors set up selling food and $3 drafts.  Lot of folks brought chairs and set up under the pavilion to enjoy Business Time’s excellent performance.  I’d recommend Thursday Night Live to anyone who enjoys fun, and if you live in or around Lexington, there’s really no reason not to go.

As you can see in the above photo, the pavilion is quite large, and there was a good crowd out for last night’s show.  There’s plenty of room to to mingle, or dance if that’s your thing, and you shouldn’t have any trouble finding parking, especially if you don’t mind a short walk.  Meters are free by the time the show starts, so parking should cost you nothing.

Business Time plays with a ton of energy, and you can definitely tell they enjoy what their doing.  They certainly know how to work the crowd.  Their encore performance of the Rolling Stones’ Sympathy for the Devil electrified the entire pavilion, and Nate gave an exceptionally passionate performance.

So if you enjoy good music, performed by talented musicians, you’ll definitely want to check out Business Time.  They play most weekends in and around Lexington.  You can check out their website www.businesstimemusic.com, or find them on Facebook,  for their schedule of events and more information on the band.

I remember the old days when were blowing fire and lighting off flash pots and using condenced smoke, Jumping off amps, ripping off cloths including my famous naked drum solo that I did on a $5 dollar bet from John Bohmer. Now days we just play music. Looks like you all had fun. Keep Rockin’n

These guys were great…I predict that they are going places! The article captured their spirit and the passion they have for the music these four guys played–not only last night but always!

Fantastic!! It was a crazy good show…but BT shows always are. I’m so proud of that band…they seem to get more and more talented and intense with every performance!
