Capsicum Annuum

So I’m giving food photography another shot.  This time around, instead of working my way through a recipe, I chose to photograph four bell peppers.  The vivid colors and unique shapes of the peppers, presented a creative opportunity that I felt wasn’t allowed, or at aleast as accessible, when I was making the cheesecake.

I felt like I was more in control of the shoot, and less constrained by the necessity of actually baking a cake.  The shoot went much better overall; I more thouroughly enjoyed the experience, and I am much more pleased with the end results.

I like these. How are you doing the lack of background?
